The IDC is looking for the services of a specialist in financial modeling to develop generic Financial Models for PV, wind and hydro projects, which can be used to independently verify models received from Project Sponsors. The (IDC) is actively involved in the development and financing of several solar photovoltaic (PV), wind and hydro projects (the Projects or each Project) to be submitted to the “Procurer” as defined in the promulgated (4th May 2011) “Electricity Regulations on New Generation Capacity” in response (in the form of a bid submission) to the Request for Proposal (RfP) for Renewable Energy generation. The role of the IDC, in any given Project, may include that of co-developer, equity participant and/or debt provider. These projects will either be funded solely by the IDC or co-funded with other Development Finance Institutions or Commercial Banks. The IDC therefore requires the services of a specialist in financial modeling to develop generic Financial Models for PV, wind and hydro projects, which can be used to independently verify models received from Project Sponsors. The service provider(s) are invited to submit two separate proposals for the following: • The development of any or all of the proposed financial models • The Audit/Review of the 3 financial models after its development The service provider is required to build a financial model for each of the three technologies mentioned above (Solar PV, Wind and Hydro) but can also decide to provide a proposal for only one or two financial model separately.
